not at all, DC's have been fully supported as VM's for years.

the local HV will work very happily as a standard server (no ad joining required)

i have 100's of Virtual AD's on HV, unless you are running a cluster.

a Hyper-v server should ONLY be that. you should run AD inside a VM not on the local host.

do a migration to new AD in a VM then remove the AD from the host server then just backup the VM's

so i want to backup Dropbox like other SaaS, office 365 for example you can do a cloud to cloud (direct) Dropbox to Azure blob.

the only Dropbox backups i have found use a local install as the transporter agent making the backups very slow.

Ok, so now i have it added, is there a walk through on how to restore from the WEB, NOT the client.

i have setup storage accounts, VN's for both the restore and the temp instance but i cannot get the temp instance to see the storage, VN's are fine but the storage WONT show.

Hi, that way does not let you add the VM account. says contact cloudberry support.

The account needs to be added in the portal 1st.

I have added the blob storage that's easy. To restore to azure you need an azureVM account added.

SO, after 5.9 upgrade the backup is now running but the files are not showing and the backup fails.

we are a little closer but not quite there.... please hurry up and fix minio on windows :)
