Any issue restoring from a copy of an encrypted backup?

I use MSP 360 (Cloudberry) Windows to back up my PC to my NAS. I periodically copy the NAS backup folder to a USB external drive. I am considering changing to encrypted MSP 360 (Cloudberry) Windows backups. Regarding encryption, will I be able to restore my PC directly from the external drive if need be?
