If I edit my backup plan and change the storage to Intelligent Tiering (from Standard), will that change happen automagically? Or do I need to change the storage class in the AWS console first? Or do I need to start over with a full backup?
[reply=“Bill Turner;d810”] You can edit the backup plan to upload files to Intelligent tier from now on and also create a life cycle policy to move objects to Intelligent tier after, say, 1 day.
Once lifecycle policy moves all objects to that tier you can delete it.
Thanks

Very cool - thanks so much, Anton.

[reply=“Anton Zorin;2805”] Hi, new to CB here… I am hoping for some clarification on your reply.
If I change the storage class on my existing backup from say Glacier to Glacier-DA and create a LC policy as you suggested, will the backup job re-recognize the data in Glacier-DA class and pickup on incrementals from there? Or, will it want to create a full?
