Default Screen Resolution for Remote Control

Hi,
When I connect to the host, it always comes up as a default resolution of 1024 x 768. Is there any way to change this default? I find I need to fiddle around trying different values in combination with full screen and/or scaled before I find one where the mouse pointer works properly. It would be nice to be able to save these settings as a default either for that host or for any host.

Does that option exist anywhere?

Not yet, but this is an awesome idea in fact and i have created a corresponding feature-reqest for our R&D to review and add to the development roadmap. Thank you for suggesting it.
