I am attempting to install a new trial version on a windows 2008 server and the install seems to have frozen at this point:
Execute: “G:\CloudBerry\cbb.exe” -o -productid cbf9ca7a-651e-4fdc-8651-974cfc58551b
I let it sit for an hour and then killed the install process and ran the install again. It has been sitting at this same point now for about 30 minutes.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
[reply=“Jeff Martin;d2270”] Is the G: drive a local drive on the server or a mapped drive? Where are you grabbing that “execute” command from? Are you reading the msi install log?
The G drive is a local drive and that command is coming from inside the install window.
[reply=“Jeff Martin;8127”] So you are installing to the G: drive? Can you try an install to the Program Files folder? I’m wondering if you’re having a security rights issue with that folder.
At some point over night the installation did complete. So it took well over an hour for installation to complete.
