new backup format moving backup data to a new computer

i have plan name mydata with 500gb data on my c:\mydata folder i move all the data to a new pc to the same folder location C:\mydata and the same computer name
do i need to upload all C:\mydata folder 500GB agin or my data go to same locatin in the cloud?
what need to do?
