Restore backup from Windows

Hi guys!

I´m now using Linux Mint and want to restore files previously backed up using Windows. I´ve already tried to restore from a external drive and Blackblaze bucket but the Restore Wizard did not show any files/folders available to Restore. It was empty.

Can I do that?

[reply=“Filipe Melo;d621”] Please refer to this blog post: https://help.cloudberrylab.com/cloudberry-backup/restore/about-restore/restore-from-another-computer

[reply=“David Gugick;2155”] I managed to restore from another Windows computer but couldn´t do the same from Linux computer. Is this blog post you refered supposed to work on Linux too?

[reply=“Filipe Melo;2157”], yes, the blog post is relevant. The controls might look a bit different, but the logic is 100% the same

[reply=“Gleb;2158”] Now I can restore files stored in S3 but couldn’t see any files in BlackBlaze B2 or in a external HD.

Does Cloudberry Desktop for Linux support BlackBlaze B2 and local file system restore?

Yes, there should be no trouble with that - just add the storage account (make sure to select the right bucket/container) and specify the Prefix, that should be it
