I tried restoring a Windows Server 2016 hyper-v guest an Instance & as a disk. Neither would let me RDP into them from a remote client or via the GCP dashboard.
I saw no logging via the GCP firewall that showed me connecting to them via the RDP “logs/compute.googleapis.com%2Ffirewall) AND jsonPayload.rule_details.reference:(“network:default/firewall:default-allow-rdp”)”
On the windows server: Administrator password was set, DCHP was set, & it had the windows firewall disabled.
Is it possible to restore a windows guest to the GCP platform?
