I am try ting to setup a new file backup job in new server. what we like to have is
full backup 1 day of the monthly
incremental backup daily for month
again full backup on 1 day of the month
can see the incremental option under advance recurring schedule can’t locate full backup option in the software.
can you help
[reply=“KrisD;d1792”] Incremental will back everything up the first time and then only back up files that changed. If you want to perform block-level backups so only changes within larger files are backed up rather than the entire file each time, then schedule block-level to run every day and Incremental to run every 30 days.
We don’t use use the term Full backup any longer since only that very first backup is actually a full one.
