I’m Using CBB Ultimate for Windows to backup a samba share from a linux server.
I can’t tell it to ignore symlinks (anywhere I can find) like I can in the unix and Mac clients
Am I missing something?

[reply=“Nathan Briggs;d725”] Symlinks are not widely used on Windows machines, so currently there’s no option that is specifically controls symlink behavior in Windows version. We’re already working on that.
So in a hybrid environment I would be better buying the linux client? Last time I evaluated it it was a long way behind the windows software, apparently except in this key area
[reply=“Nathan Briggs;2497”] That entirely depends on your needs. Symlinks are, perhaps, the only thing that Windows version of the software currently lacks in comparison to the Linux version.
