We’ve just released a small patch for Standalone Backup for Linux - v 2.8.1.14 (not for Managed Backup).
New feature:
- Support for AWS S3 Intelligent Tiering & direct upload to Glacier storage class
Backup for Linux can now upload directly to S3-Glacier or any other storage class.
Supported in CLI, GUI and WebUI.
UX improvement:
In GUI only: hovering the mouse over a storage class inside the list shows a tooltip with some info about the storage class (extract from Amazon documentation).
