    Image level backup for Linux isn't available yet. We are working on it and hope to release an update later this year.

  • VmWare Cloud on AWS
    It's not a scenario that's been tested at this time but if your AWS VMware environment can "see" your S3 storage bucket containing your backups, it might be possible to restore the image as a VMware VM. Again, this hasn't been tested and is just conjecture at this point.

    Have you opened a ticket with support? Sending the log files from the affected computer will help to troubleshoot what might be happening.

  • About to purchase linux license
    ↪Carlos Alfaro
    Have you downloaded a trial version of our Linux version yet? You get a free 15 day trial, this may be one of the best ways to evaluate if it will work for you. Our Windows version does include a hybrid mode that backs up to 2 locations at one (local and cloud), that feature will eventually make it to the Linux version.

    It may be best to create a support ticket with the full logs. If you go to Tools\Diagnostics you can submit a ticket that includes all logs.

    I just checked our tracking system and we do have this in the works. Here's how it will work...

    KC=key combination

    There are 3 options to select from: always send KC; never send KC; send KC only in fullscreen mode (default).

    These options will be placed on the "Connection" page of "Options" window. If the user changes the option prior to use of KC in connection window, that's all that he will see.

    In other case the first KC pressed in full control mode causes the appearance of a configuration dialog, no matter if the fullscreen mode is active or not.

    There are no restrictions on using free Explorer for commercial use but if you run into an issue it's better to have the paid edition for proper support.
