We've received reports from some of our customers about intermittent connectivity issues with B2. Are you currently experiencing this problem? If you are, please let us know, and we'd be glad to proceed with a more in-depth investigation to resolve the issue.

In terms of item-level restores from image-based backups, our current system employs a single thread. We're actively researching ways to improve restoration speeds, and it seems that using multiple threads may not be the solution in some cases.

Regarding B2 connection issues some customers are facing, we need to rule out problems with the actual cloud storage connection first. If you can provide the following information, I can open a support ticket:

• Your ISP's declared download speed.
• Your actual internet download speed.
• Your download speed directly from B2 outside of MSP360.
• Logs to identify any issues with requests from MSP360 Backup to B2.

What is your backup plan type and what exactly are you trying to restore, e.g. one file from an image-based backup, full system image, or something else?

Do you see each backup doubling/tripling in size on the Backup Storage tab? Can you send a screenshot?

Logs look strange. Can you try to uninstall the software and check if the backup service is running?

Is that a legacy backup format? and what's the software version you're running?

I apologize for my delayed response. MSP360 Backup generates its own VSS copy, which could potentially "accelerate the deletion of other shadow copies." However, this particular copy is automatically removed once the backup process is finished.

Furthermore, it's crucial to understand that MSP360 does not back up System Protection copies. Consequently, following a restore from an MSP360 backup, you won't have the option to utilize System Protection to access copies created prior to the restoration.

You're using a standalone product. To raise a ticket you need to obtain paid support. Sorry for the confusion.

Looking again at your initial request I see now that you refer to the Linux backup web ui, not the management console web ui. WebUI is in Beta right now and that is the reason for such behavior. Hers is the CLI command to delete the backup date.

From the management console click Support in the top-right Help section and then you should be able to open a case without an issue.
