Is there a recommended method/structure to backup in order to preserve the CBB database.
Its all well and good backing up 'our' treasured files etc,.. but in a case where the system that runs the CBB backup s/w crashes and all data is lost,... how would CBB find / know about any backups it has made previously...
is there a file structure that needs to be backed-up in order to preserve knowledge of old schedules that have been run,.. that can simply be restored, copied back in order give CBB knowledge of previous historic backups.

Database is re-created automatically upon installing the software on a new machine, so technically there's no need to back it up. In case of disaster recovery you can switch destination to restore-only mode and restore your data without re-creating the database.

The procedure is automatic. Once the application recognizes our folder structure that starts with CBB_%prefix% it'll automatically starts sync.

    Tx for your response Matt,
So all the full backup and incremental data flags, and the actual data of course,.. are stored within the structure of each back tree location?
