I have a client who wants to migrate to Azure Files as their primary file server. They want to go all cloud and remove the on-site server. Azure Files snapshot backup isn't listed as an option in their geography. Does MSP360 offer a simple way to backup an Azure Files instance? I could configure a Sync server and back that up, but it seems to be a lot of cost and effort purely for a backup solution.

    Thanks,

    Joshua.

We only support Azure Blob for the backup purposes. You can use Cloudberry Explorer for Azure to migrate your files directly to Azure Files instance.

Thanks, Matt. I will need to look for an alternative backup solution.

Joshua, you posted under the Managed Backup section, but I'm pretty sure you can do what you want from our stand-alone MSP360 Backup (I'll confirm with Matt). That product has Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Local options and supports Azure Files. If you do not see Azure Files in the Add Storage Account dialog under Other Providers, let me know as there is a way to enable the older provider list.
