Hi,

I came across mentions that GFS backup is being worked on as far back as 2017 and I understand that the new beta file format introduced in version 7.0 is one of the steps towards releasing GFS. Given all of the above, is there any estimate at all on when GFS backup will be released? Before the end of 2021? before the end of 2022? never?

If not a date, will the GFS be part of the 7.x series of releases, or will its release require a next major version number?
