Backup Plans run at computer startup - even when option not selected
Client computer goes offline for a while, whether due to an issue, or due to client turning it off.
When device comes back online, all of the plans start running right away, even though I have not selected to "Run Missed Scheduled Plan Immediately When Computer Starts Up" option.
Recently this has caused an "error obtaining license" message, likely due to the plan trying to start before the machine is fully booted and the network is not available.
I have submitted this issue to Support several times over the past few years, but I am always told that it is expected behavior. I do not understand why Cloud backup plans would fire up immediately at startup when I have not specified them to do so.
Support is going to get back to you in that open ticket - the team will continue the investigation.
Yes they did get back to me finally - (thanks to you I suspect).
I keep having to explain to clients why their backup runs in the morning and why it fails.
