I recently did a bare metal restore and ended up with data that was 3 days old. This was because the backup repository last synced 3 days prior and that was the 'most current version' it knew of.
It would be great if the BMR disk would automatically sync the repositories it knows about based on the software instance that was used to generate it. Also, an option where the MSP360 software automatically synchronizes it's repositories immediately after completing a backup job would undoubtedly save others from making the same silly mistake.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're describing, the backup repository should not need to be manually synchronized as it's updated in real-time with every backup.
Can you describe in a little more detail the steps you went through to perform the restore?
