We have set up daily incremental backups to s3 which works fine, as we all know only new files or modified files gets backed up on incremental, this used to work fine but for some reason now every Sunday it backs up everything including all files that have already been copied over. Ive looked over the config and nothing has changed but I cannot find anything why it does this. Ive already tried re syncing the repository but sill the same issue. TIA
CloudBerry Backup Ultimate Edition
Version: 7.0.4.3
Backup Mode: Custom - storage class is Glacier
- backup all files
- does not back up system and hidden files and on-demand files
Retention policy: keep 3 versions
Recurring Schedule: Daily Incremental Backup
If I try to recreate the issue manually by running the back up, it works fine meaning it doesnt backup files that have already been copied but this is after it has backed up everything on Sunday. What is triggering it to backup everything just on Sundays?
Please upgrade to the latest version first and try again. Chances it will fix it. If not, we will need to look a you backup plan config closely and then maybe logs.
