Trying to restore but get "There was no endpoint listening..."
Need to restore an image backup for a server which has died. I go through the restore wizard, and on the last step when I get to the page where I need to specify the destination, I get this:
As the server which the original CB install was on is toast, I have installed a trial version on my Surface Pro 3 (W10 Pro), and this is the result. Any suggestions?
With the image this time...
An update for anyone who's interested: Installed the software on a desktop I had sitting around and it ran fine without this error.
Most likely there was a problem with starting/running backup service. The first thing to check is the service icon in the lower-left corner of the UI. You can start/stop it there. Difficult to say what caused the issue, since there shouldn't be problems like that even on Surface devices since Windows is still Windows.
Anyway, glad that it's working now. In cases like that you can send the logs for investigation to our support team via tools > diagnostic menu.
