    I've currently got

    Virtual Machine Edition v.6.2.0.153 installed, with a custom build with the agent disabled.
    If I attempt to run the executable, I get a simple dialog saying its a managed backup with an OK button. So its working as expected.

    Now due to needing functionality which only exists in the agent; I need to re-enable the agent. I've enabled the "backup agent" etc in the branding options. I've created a new download. However because its the same 'version' as the already installed version, there doesn't appear to be anyway to push the update with the new settings (the way you can remotely update systems when a new version is released.)

    Is that a known limitation or did I just miss something?

    I was able to manually download and install it; and that worked.

    That's a known limitation, but we're already working on an update that will allow you to launch force update from the portal based not only on the version number, but the build parameters as well.
