NAS device Backup

    Hello,

    I am using a windows server 2012R2 to backup my NAS data, the backup is working very fine, just we need to refresh the server OS to server 2019.
    how to move the existing backup to the new server while keeping the existing repository?
    enabling the backup again in the new server is not a good idea as the size of data is too big 16TB and it will take time again to resync.

    If you're concerned about the time needed to resync the data, then I would recommend you reach out to Support directly as they may be able to provide you manual instructions on how to preserve the existing repository without the need for a resync. Also, make sure you tell them if you're doing an upgrade in-place or if you're really using a new server / fresh install of the OS.
