First, THANKS for starting the forums again. I know they will be helpful.

For a quasi-hybrid approach, I schedule a weekly backup to my "almost offsite" USB drive which is kept in a fireproof safe. [This is in addition to daily backups to other destinations.] Currently, I use a Google calendar reminder to prompt me to go get the drive, connect it, and manually start that backup plan.

Since CloudBerry backup already has such a good scheduler built in, can CloudBerry be configured to also issue a prompt of some sort to mount that drive ... and to wait for the mount? [Maybe I should just schedule it and see what happens...]

    Thanks again!

Bob, Have you looked into using a pre/post Actions? You can specify a pre-backup action to map the drive and it will do that every time the job runs.

    Thanks Doug.
Sounds just like what I want. But, how?
I'm using the simple CB Backup Desktop Edition and haven't found a way to specify the actions. Maybe they're hiding someplace I haven't found yet.
