If I want cloudberry backup to keep multiple versions of backuped files, do I need to activate versioning on the destination bucket?

No. Do not use cloud versioning. We don't support it. You need to use our retention features that are exposed in the backup wizard. If you use the legacy file folder plan type, then you'll see retention options for the number of versions you want to keep and for how long. If you use the newer archive backup format, you'll see options for GFS settings that will determine how many restorable backups to keep and over what time period.
