  • Mouse Pointer Incorrect 2.2.0.51
Just tried the new version and it seems to have fixed my issue. It was only one host affected, and there may be a clue there because that was an ESXi VM and I didn't have the correct video RAM configured in VMware, meaning that the native screen resolution was limited to 1280x800. The reason I didn't notice that before its that it would display higher resolutions when connecting with RDP, as I did most of the time.

Thanks, that sounds like the best plan. Will it work with mixed versions for a short time until I get around to updating each of he hosts?
  • How to Save Remote Computer Details
My install has lost its saved sessions once again. I need to look at how to make sure it's backed up in some way. Would you consider as ability to choose where settings are saved as a future option? Another option would be to save backups of the settings file each time the application exits.

Thanks. That folder is completely empty on my PC. But there is a file
    c:\ProgramData\Remote Assistant\RaSettings.xml

Once I get my connections reinstated I'll look and see whether that file gets updated, or whether a new file is created in the currently empty folder
  • Issues with Unattended Access after Cold Boot
I should have mentioned that I reverted the Delayed Start change, and have been running the service just as normal Automatic, the same as created by the application. It doesn't seem to make any difference to how long you have to wait before the host is able to accept incoming connections. However it does seem that it's just a delay of a few minutes, not an absolute failure like I originally thought.
  • Running as a Service
There's a service, not sure about this but I think it may be enabled only if you have setup Unattended Access. Service is "Remote Assistant Service" CloudRaService.exe
  • Issues with Unattended Access after Cold Boot
I've done some more tests today and it appears as if there's a delay after a cold start before the host can be connected. I'm not sure how long, or if it's a consistent time. However after that delay it works normally.
  • Connections become unresponsive
Update on this, since I upgraded the host to the latest version it seems completely reliable. I'm actually wondering if the problems started when I upgraded the client, so the versions were out of step.
  • Suggestion: Consider supporting portable apps application
A portable client would be really handy. Especially if it could save session information, so that from a USB drive on an unprepared PC you could take control of one of your hosts.
  • Default Screen Resolution for Remote Control
Thanks for the response, that sounds good.
