An error occurred (code: 1003) on several servers since upgrade to 7.9.4.83

Since I upgraded to 7.9.4.83 on Windows 2016/19 (fully patched), backups are failing w/ error:

An error occurred (code: 1003)
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Others have reported this issue to tech support - What do you use for clous storage?

Support claims the issue relates to DNS specifically larger EDNS queries failing but I’m not seeing it fail in any other application OR in any identically configured network.

I even tried disabling EDNS on the server, changing DNS servers and it still doesn’t work
