Azure Files as backup source - simple way to backup Azure Files instances

I have a client who wants to migrate to Azure Files as their primary file server. They want to go all cloud and remove the on-site server. Azure Files snapshot backup isn’t listed as an option in their geography. Does MSP360 offer a simple way to backup an Azure Files instance? I could configure a Sync server and back that up, but it seems to be a lot of cost and effort purely for a backup solution.

[reply=“Joshua;d1658”] We only support Azure Blob for the backup purposes. You can use Cloudberry Explorer for Azure to migrate your files directly to Azure Files instance.

[reply=“Joshua;5910”] Joshua, you posted under the Managed Backup section, but I’m pretty sure you can do what you want from our stand-alone MSP360 Backup (I’ll confirm with Matt). That product has Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Local options and supports Azure Files. If you do not see Azure Files in the Add Storage Account dialog under Other Providers, let me know as there is a way to enable the older provider list.
