Backup for VMs can't read volumes created with multiple drives?

Hello - has anyone else experienced this issue? We can read/restore from the “C” volume (1 drive), but when we access the data volume (consists of 5 2TB drives, added to the volume as we needed room). This is on Windows Server 2016. Thanks for any suggestions!

What is the backup type? Is it file or partition level?

Hi Anton,

We are using “Backup VM Edition”, build 6.2.0.154. We were trying to do a file-level restore - that’s when we encounter the issue…thanks!

[reply=“Gerald Wen;4919”] Send the logs from the software(tools> diagnostic) to investigate that properly. Don’t forget to add the link to this thread in the issue description.

Thanks Matt - already sent the logs, but will add links to this thread. So can you confirm that volumes with multiple drives should be readable - (especially for file-level restores?). Thanks!

[reply=“Gerald Wen;4930”] I guess you’re referring to RAIDS, is that correct? There shouldn’t be any problems with the backup procedure in that case, so that’s why we need the logs.
