i have cloudberry backup desktop edition v.7.2.1.53
i have backup in aws s3 and in another computer’s file system, when i try to restore from both i get the error: https://ibb.co/RzctnMt
i tried to restore from another computer (restore from aws s3) it turns out that cloudberry can’t “see” the AWS s3 backup. using s3 browser program i can see cbl file totaling 17GB in various folders.
thank you. i did that and i now understand why previously cloudberry backup couldn’t see the backup.
now cloudberry can see the backups but can’t extract any files from there , as if the backups are empty despite the cbl files are gigabytes in size.i opened a support ticket.
why there is no utility to directly open cbl files.
[reply=“esam;8651”] CBL are archive files and must be processed by the restore engine. That may also contain incremental backups of files, which makes restoring more involved than a simple extraction.
[reply=“esam;8655”] Can you confirm you are creating a Restore Plan from CloudBerry Backup to restore the files? You can see the backups and when you run the restore plan, you get the error noted above?
