Decryption Password in Free version

I have an old file image backup on AWS Glacier that I need to restore from many years ago. I do not have access to the Cloud Berry backup software that created this backup. I tried to restore from Cloud berry Explorer Freeware and it says decryption password incorrect. I’ve checked in options and there is no where to enter the password. Is there somewhere to enter the decryption password in this version? Do I need a paid version? I literally need one file restored, lol. I downloaded the Wasabi Explorer version and it has a place for a password, but I need to access a Glacier bucket.

[reply=“Grant Gardner;d9291”] You can always use CloudBerry Backup in a “retore-only” mode. no licenses needed to restore data

[reply=“Alexander Negrash;10274”] When I try to restore with the desktop version of BAckup, it doesnt see the AWS bucket where my data resides. It does show a single bucket, but doesnt list any data in that bucket. The Explorer product shows all of my data. Is there a way to force it to pull an inventory? Doesnt seem like there are many options other than adding the account.

[reply=“Grant Gardner;10275”] try this https://help.msp360.com/cloudberry-backup/restore/about-restore/restore-from-another-computer

[reply=“Alexander Negrash;10276”] I have no idea what the prefix should be. I can browse all of the data in the vault with CloudBerry Explorer, but cant see anything within the server version. I have tried entering a prefix with Regular mode and also choosing restore only. restore only gives me a “Cannot find a prefix in backup storage” error. Thanks

[reply=“Grant Gardner;10277”] Is it the same computer you trying to restore to?

[reply=“Alexander Negrash;10279”] No. These backups were done a long time ago, no clue what the computer name was that created them. They are file level backups. I can see all the files just fine from Explorer, but cant enter a decryption password like I can in the Wasabi Explorer version.

[reply=“Grant Gardner;10280”] I saw you are trying to access Glacier. Were you backing up to the old-style Glacier, not the S3 Glacier storage class? Try this then https://kb.msp360.com/standalone-backup/general/obsolete-storage-destinations

[reply=“Alexander Negrash;10281”] Awesome. That let me choose the proper bucket and it is doing a sync. I still dont see a place to input decryption password though. thoughts?

[reply=“Grant Gardner;10282”] Create a restore plan, and there you should be able to input your password
