We’re happy to introduce free backup for unlicensed Microsoft 365 shared mailboxes as part of release 4.9 for MSP360 Backup for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Release 4.9 aligns MSP360’s backup licensing policy with Microsoft’s licensing model, which allows shared mailboxes to remain unlicensed as long as they stay below 50 GB. In MSP360, shared mailboxes that meet these same conditions no longer require a separate MSP360 backup license.
