I have created a boot USB to do bare metal recovery.
But when I want to restore and fill in the user account and password, it tells me that there are no licenses available.
I am testing the restore procedure for my client (there is only 1 server and hence only 1 license).
Does it mean that there is no way to test it while the original installation is active?

[reply=“Josep;10151”] if it’s new hardware you are trying to restore to, you should be able to use a 15-day trial. Otherwise, a separate license is required.
If your goal is to verify that a backup can be restored, consider using the Restore Verification feature. It will spin up a local VM from your backup and report back on the resaukt
