MSP360 Backup app... running in background?

Hi

I could not find this information anywhere on the site or forum.

Does the MSP360 Backup app for OSX run in the background (have a background agent)?
I don’t see a process called agent and I don’t see an icon in the top right of the menu bar.

Do I need to actively keep this app open all the time and even set it up to always open in settings > login items?
