MSP360 Backup - can't set S3 compatible region for Garage - `Authorization header malformed`

Hi all,

As the title says, I can’t find any way to edit the region for an S3 compatible storage account (Garage in this case).

Getting this error: Authorization header malformed, unexpected scope: 20260413/us-east-1/s3/aws4_request. Spent several hours troubleshooting this.

Hi,

For S3-compatible storage, the product does not require explicitly setting a region. Instead, the endpoint URL defines the region and routing, so specifying the correct endpoint should be sufficient for proper configuration.

Could you please send us the logs from the product so we can investigate further?
