No Incremental - Always Full backups

Hi

I trialling CBB and have it installed on a Win2012 server. I have one backup job which is full image (block-level) backup to Azure Cloud with Archive blob.

I have set it up a schedule for daily backups with weekly full backups.

However, it seems to always perform a full backup.

I read that Azure Archive is costly to read data and it takes time.
Could that be why it is unable to read the backup to see what has changed??

If I use Azure COLD blob, would that allow incremental backups?

[reply=“Rishal;d580”] Difficult to say what causes that behavior. I suggest to send us the logs via tools > diagnostic menu. Mention this forum thread, please, in the issue description so the ticket gets to me.

It seems to be doing incremental backups now.

I wanted to know if the licenses are transferable?
Meaning if we retire the server and replace with a new one, can the license be transferred?

[reply=“Rishal;2026”] You can release the license yourself via Licensing menu, like on the screenshot:

After that it will be available for activation on a new machine.

If the old machine is no longer available just drop an email to [email protected] regarding license release and we’ll reset it on our side.
