Is there any way to put a job on hold? Or pause or disable it?

Sometimes I want to stop a job from running, but I don’t want to break the schedule or modify the job in any way.

Hi Tylan,

Currently, the closest options are:

  • Stop (cancel) the currently running job when the backup is already running
  • Edit the schedule if you want to prevent future runs

However, if you mean a separate “Pause backup job” option, where the job keeps its configuration and schedule but does not continue until manually resumed, that is a valid feature request

I’ve been using MSP360 since the Cloudberry days, and I’ve meant to submit this idea multiple times. LOL.

Yes, like other backup products I’d like a way to disable or place a job on hold. This is useful when maybe introducing a new backup job, and you don’t want to toss the old job right away.
