Problems with Consistency Check

I have a problem with the consistency check on one server. The Backup ist stored with the backup of another server on a NAS and Backup works fine. Every sunday I perform a consistency check, and today, tuesday the consistency check ist still running and displays me, that 20866467 files are added and the number is rising. But however we do not have so many files on the Backup storage or on our server. If I open the log of the consistency check the following error ist displayed:

“Der Benutzername oder das Kennwort ist falsch” means that the username or password ist wrong but however if I test the network credentials in “Add/Edit Network path” the operation is successfully.

Currently the database ist about 7GB large, which seems much to me, because the whole server has only about 1TB.

This is a “new” server we have switched to cliudberry about 3 weeks ago. I hope someone can give me a hint.

[reply=“Florian;d1177”] What’s the actual size of the folder with your data on that NAS device? Were any of the files moved outside of the software to that destination folder(e.g. from standalone backup)?

Also, I’ve seen similar behavior on NAS devices with built-in versioning enabled, so please check that, it could double or triple your backup size.

Hi Matt,
thank you for the reponse. A second server also uses this NAS and Cloudberry as backup destination, there the backups works fine, the consitency check is quick, and the repository has a normal size, therefore I don´t believe that the NAs is the problem. Versioning is disabled on the NAS.

Currently I try to shrink the database. And afterwards I will start a new synchronization of the repository. I hope afterwards the consitency check works fine and quick.

[reply=“Florian;4157”] Could you please clarify what’s the actual amount of data on that NAS device under this particular user? That’s pretty important. If there’s indeed a big discrepancy between these numbers we’d need diagnostic logs sent to us from the machine. Don’t forget to add a link to this thread in the issue description so the case goes directly to me.
