Purge errors when using Wasabi with Compliance retention

Using CloudBerry and Wasabi with Compliance retention set, CloudBerry still tries to delete things from the cloud even though I’ve told CloudBerry to use a 1 year retention. This causes an error since I have 6 months of retention configured in Wasabi. Error is as follows:

Purge error (Code: 1047)
An error occurred while attempting to purge data on backup storage: Error deleting folder ‘backupmain/CBB_SERVERNAME/CBB_Archive/f81a5bc8-48e8-45ef-94e9-26354d62bc51/GEN-000025-432dc915-ab78-4257-8268-aba76f106d21/20231203080018_000603’

Obviously this does not occur if I disable Compliance Retention in Wasabi, which is not a fix.

We are also struggling with Compliance Retention in Wasabi and Cloudberry trying to purge things and getting purge errors.
Cloudberry: keep backup for 7 days
Wasabi retention: 7 days
But we are getting purge errors.

We need some guidelines to configure both Cloudberry and Wasabi and definitely wat the compliance retention enabled in Wasabi.

Wasabi has 90 or 30 days minimum storage duration so you better match this with your retention settings.
