Purge of empty folders on destination

The backup retention policy of keeping the last 5 versions of a file is working well. CB puts each version into its own subfolder. The issue I’m having, is that once an old version is deleted, it leaves behind an empty folder. Is there a way of deleting these? See attached image to see what I mean.

Is this a SQL backup?
We are aware of such issue with database backup plans, the fix will be released in version 6.0.

[reply=“JohnKap;d136”] Can you post which version of CloudBerry Backup you are using. Folders for file-backup plans should be removed when old versions are aged out. You may want to open a Support case with us for more direct help.

I’m running 5.8.0.168
Backing up to a network smb share.(encrypted if that makes a difference).
