Restoring encrypted backups from Azure

Our backups are hosted in Azure and encrypted using a 64 character password which cannot be entered using a standard keyboard. If we wish to, e.g. restore a system state backup using a USB key, how do we go about entering this password to decrypt the backup?

Is it possible to download and decrypt the backup, save it to a USB stick and then restore from that stick?

The answer is yes, you can download the full backup data to the USB stick, set the stick as the backup storage, run the sync (you will be prompted for a password), and then restore it.
