Starting Remote Assistant via RDP

I am another TeamViewer convert. I have a headless Windows 10 system where I used RDP to uninstall TeamViewer, then installed Remote Assistant. Nothing happens the first time that I start Remote Assistant. The next time I start it, I get the message that “Remote Assistant is already running”.
Is this because Remote Assistant uses RDP? Please help! Thanks!

[reply=“Katherine G;d1463”] Hello Katherine,

We are not using RDP, however, there might some issues in installing the RA via RDP. I would suggest trying this to make sure that everything is working correctly:

Follow this guide to configure unattended access and try to connect to the system. Surely keep us posted regarding the progress of it. Thank you.

Hi Sergey, the UI for the app never opens and I can’t change any settings. It’s weird.

I uninstalled RA, then connected using VNC instead of RDP, and reinstalled RA, and now it seems to be working.
