Unable to run CloudBerry Explorer 6.6

Unable to run CloudBerry Explorer 6.6

Error:
Could not find a part of the path
‘C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\CloudBerryLab\CloudBerry Explorer for Azure Blob Storage’.

I’ve checked permissions of the folder & I’m local administrator with ‘Full control’.

I was able to install on my previous laptop but since I swap with new one I’ve encountered this issue.

Please help & advise, thanks.

Hi Edward,

We were actually seeing this issue on 6.6 as well. We ended up having to downgrade the version of Cloudberry to 5.9. We went with that version because we had some other instances on that version.

[reply=“EdwardL;d9352”] [reply=“BlakeW;10510”] Can you send logs?

The issue is due to the App install creating the folder
Cloudberry Explorer in AppData local
When the folder should be named
Cloudberry Explorer for Amazon S3
Rename the folder and the App will work.
Tested and Verified on Version CloudBerryExplorerSetup_v6.6.1.5_netv4.0

[reply=“Alexander Negrash;10511”] I am experiencing this issue after upgrading to 6.6.1.5. How can I get the logs and send them to you?

[reply=“Rodre;11139”] Have you tried a clean installation from the website https://www.msp360.com/cloudberry-backup/download/cbeaio/

Yes, I have, I even uninstalled and rebooted before reinstalling. This only appears to happen if installed on a computer that had an older version installed. Is there Windows registry keys, files/folders, or user/system variables we should be manually deleting? It feels like it is residue left over from the previous install.
