My error:
Backup MS Exchange Server data Failed 2024-06-06 20:00:03 VSS System Writer does not have permissions to read the service account. Event ID: 513
This started a few weeks ago. No changes to the server have been made (beyond standard windows updates).
When I search the error message, the knowledge base says : Follow Microsoft best practices to work around the case. Refer to the Event ID 513 when running VSS in Windows Server chapter at docs.microsoft.com (https://kb.msp360.com/standalone-backup/general/errors-and-warnings/vss-system-writer-does-not-have-permissions-to-read-service-account )
But that linked Microsoft article says to ignore the error and turn off logging for it. This doesnt address the issue and fix my backups.
Please assist.
