• Modules to activate the 'ITEM LEVEL RESTORE'
The option should be available in version 6.2, so hopefully we'll be able to release that version in the beginning of this Summer.
  • API Definition file
Yeah, that's the correct link. If you have any issues using API let us know in the ticket system.
  • How to upgrade
You need to register a separate account for the ticket system. As for the reply, I just forwarded it again to your email address.
  • Buying monthly
It's better to send an email to regarding that, they'll be able to assist you.
  • Encrypted files warning
Most likely some of the files are encrypted via EFS. We're already working on resolving that problem(by using backup operators group), but currently the only option to back those files up is to decrypt them.
  • Specify OneDrive path for backup from pc?
You can use custom mode during the creation of the backup plan. Versioning will not be available in this mode, but will allow you to specify a folder for the files to be backed up.
  • Another Image Based Backup
Notifications can currently be disabled on a user level per plan. For admins we
will introduce selective notification switch in version 4.6 of the portal. ETA is this Summer.
  • 1TB/5TB Data limit
Well, that's how our licensing model currently works, the only way to increase that limit is to upgrade to the Ultimate version.
  • GFS and Dedup in 6.0?
The only known problem with Server 2019 is bootable USB creation issue which will be fixed in 6.1(next month). Otherwise, the software works without any issues on that OS.
  • Physical Server Switched to Hyper-V VM Need Suggestions
You mean using file backup plan? That could work. Just make sure you're specifying proper network credentials.

As for Hyper-V functionality, a lot of improvements are planned for that to bring it closer to VMWare.
  • Synthetic Full images support on USB and shares
A lot of things changed regarding that. Current target release version is 6.3. Estimated release window is this Summer.
  • Can ransomware protection be added to an existing backup?
That's not technically feasible due to how cloud storage providers work.
  • Need to migrate Data from one folder path to another without re uploading data
You can try moving the files within the cloud to the new location and then synchronize the repository via tools > options repository using Cloudberry Explorer, but that will only work with S3. Otherwise, the files will first be downloaded to your machine and uploaded to the new location.
  • Real-time backup use case
It's not a bandwidth problem. Scanning large quantities of files will naturally take a lot of time, and if you use real-time backup that would also be taxing for your system, that's why I would personally recommend using stand scheduled backup plan.
  • Real-time backup use case
Most likely you'll notice a big performance hit during the scanning procedure, so it's better to set up a standard scheduled backup for this data set.
The first backup will take a lot of time to complete, but after that only the changes will be uploaded to the storage side and everything should be good.
  • Missing Simple Mode
Simple mode is not available for Managed Backup software by design. We create a special folder structure to identify your backups in the cloud, so currently this option is not available. Might be introduced in the future, but there's no ETA on that.
You can refer to Help section in your managed backup portal to set up a backup plan.
  • Purging deleted files from backup
Automatic deletion of files in the cloud if they were deleted on source is triggered by using "delete files that have been deleted locally" option.
  • Purging deleted files from backup
You will always see the warning about file deletion in the plan unless you click "do not show next time", in that case the process will be performed automatically. Otherwise the data deletion can only be performed via the backup storage tab.
  • Purging deleted files from backup
No such option yet. Archives can only be deleted as a whole, but soon archive functionality will be reworked, so maybe we'll be able to implement some new things regarding that.
  • Problem with Restore when not selecting ''Restore deleted files'
Perhaps you're misunderstanding the intended purpose of the option.
This option is used when you're restoring large quantities of files that were deleted by, let's say, simply selecting the whole folder and restoring everything to the original location.

The option is not related to "delete files that have been deleted locally" functionality.
