Are you using the latest version of Explorer?
I've just checked this in 5.9.1.192 version and the headers are set correctly for at least png and mp4 files as image/png and video/mp4 respectively.
Please go to Tools > Http headers in the software and take a look at Cache-Control and Content-Type values. Are image/png and video/mp4 values present for Content-Type?

A small addition: it is not possible to see the files backed up with filename encryption in restore-only mode, the software must be running either a trial or a commercial version to perform the sync and display them. I've edited the KB article to stress that point.

The Windows XP doesn't have VSS, so it has to be shut down/suspended/on hold to be backed up.
The other alternative would be creating the replicas of that VM and backing them up instead of the running VM.

The local storage accounts added through the software, whether from the Remote Management or using the GUI, can be changed in the software.

The full backup schedule missing from the console is a known issue, our web team is currently working on adding it.
The block-level option is not present in the settings of VM plans, instead the block-level backups are turned on by enabling changed block tracking for VMware or scheduling both incremental and full backups for VMware and Hyper-V in the GUI.
Synthetic fulls are currently only supported for Image Based Backup, the synthetic full feature for VM backups is still in development.

The crash code 11 is a known issue, our developers are currently investigating it. There's no workarounds for it, as far as I know.

The next update for the backup agent is expected to come out this week, unless it gets delayed.
