Ignoring soft links on Mac
Hello, I'm evaluating Cloudberry Backup for MacOS. The backup program looks good so far, but how do I ignore softlinks in backed up directories? Thanks. Steve.
this is currently in works and coming in the release scheduled for the mid of April. We will post back here once it is out. Thank you for bringing it up.
The upcoming version of CloudBerry Backup for macOS & Linux will feature the complete support for symlinks management. In other words, you will be able to indicate whether you want symlinks to be backed up as symlinks or as the files they point to (there will be 4 options to choose from).
