I had a total failure of three hard drives in my Windows 10 PC but prior to that had been running daily file level backups of most of the folders on these drives to a local NAS.
I'm struggling now to restore the latest version of all these files to my new hard drives. I thought I could simply check "Restore latest version" but when I do that I get an error 2010 - Invalid Point in time. This has the longer explanation: The specified point in time is earlier than the first full backup. Nothing to restore.

What am I doing wrong here - what is the correct way to restore all files to empty replacement hard drives?

I had this same problem. The fix was to check the box "Restore deleted items" since the backup had run on my new empty drive, it was confused. Checking the deleted items box made life all good again. Hopefully this helps the next person that lands here.
