Share a Cloudberry Drive drive?
After creating a drive (i.e. 'E:') on a Windows server, I would like to share that drive so that other machines and users can map a network drive to it. Is this possible?
I cannot seem to figure out how to share it as right-clicking does not present the expected "Share with..." option.
You can expose the drive as a network share from the CloudBerry Drive configuration screen.
Got it! I had a small routing issue.
How do you set the write permission? Remote users cannot write to it.
You can do it really easy, when you mount the drive in the software, just tick the corresponding option as i pointed on this screenshot:
This way you will mount the Drive already mounted as a share on the machine, with the ability for other users to access it. Hope it helps.
