Where do I install with Hyper-v?

I have a Hyper-V 2016 server hosting two VM's. I'd like to back up those two VM's, but not sure about where I install the CloudBerry application. On the host, VM, or another computer within the domain? What's the best practice around this?

You would install right on the Hyper-V host if you're intending to use the virtual version of CloudBerry Backup.
