After i found out newer versions do not support incremental backup on local storage anymore i was starting to move backup data to another server because we need a quite large retention period and its not acceptable to run regular full backups (default monthly). After i recreated backup jobs in July, we have now 4x times more backup data than with the old version.
Now i found that i cannot edit any backup job. Cloudberry GUI seems to hang after click "edit" or any other link. I do not know if this is related to moving one backup repository from local storage to an UNC file share. The amount of files is quite intense, it has around 9.000.000 files in it.
I started a "shrink database" but this seems to hang to. I see that it constantly adds cbbackup.db-journal every 10 seconds with size about 25kb and delete it immediately. The
file is 16gb and doesnt change at all. There is no cancel possible and i am not sure how to fix this mess.
Also i think we are out of support since 07/23
